Laser hair removal

I went it to laser permanent hair removal place and got a quote on my chest, stomach, shoulders, and armpits. $1200 for 4 sessions if I start now I’d be done by next summer. Now I asked the lady could the hair ever start growing back and she sad only if there is hormonal change, that guys wouldn’t have to worry about only mostly woman? Could steroids effect this hormonal change and cause hair to grow back?

I know I'm nobody, but that is an EXCELLENT question. I'm waiting on an answer on this. Somebody who knows please speak up!

"A hormonal change" as it applies to women is probably something like menopause, which shuts down estrogen production. In that case, the woman's test/estrogen ratio slants in favor of the test, and next thing you know she has a Tom Selleck moustache unless she starts taking ex estrogen.

A male obviously wouldn't have that problem. However, certain AAS are prone to causing an increase in body hair. I'm not sure how permanent laser works, but if it destroys the follicle I would not expect hair to grow back in that area. It could, of course, grow from other areas, causing another $1200 trip to the laser people to get rid of the NEW hair.

That's my guess.

I'm currently getting the laser hair removal on the beard area....The hair was going away quite nicely until around week 5 of my test/eq cycle....where I noticed I had an increase of growth than the weeks before....I didn't have to shave for 2 months and all of a sudden, had a 5 oclock shadow....The clinic said that it was the dormant hairs coming alive, however....I believe it was do to the increased test levels!

4 laser treatments will not get rid of all your hair unless you are not a very hairy person. You need a lot of treatments, something more like 8-12 and you may still have some hair, it will just be very fine and sparse. I had 2 treatments and you can not even tell I did anything. It was extremely painful and very expensive (700 per treatment). AAS will cause new hair regrowth so its a bad idea to do if you plan to cycle. Any hormonal change will cause new regrowth, thats what the doctor that did my treatments told me.

laser hair removal is NOT permanent. ask them. they'll so well trained to say everything but the word "permanent" when enticing you to go for it.

$5,000 and in a few years it's back to normal. don't waste your money.

I asked them if its permanent, and thats what she sad, it might grow back do to hormonal changes. but usualy happens in woman nothin man have to worry about.

If it is a stand up company, have her put it in writing that after all the treatments are complete and they have been paid in full, that if your hair begins to grow back(for whatever reason) that they will take care of it for no charge. The cost is in the equipment. The labor isnt that expensive and if they say you wont have any problems then say you wont have any problems writing up a guarantee that it wont come back and if by some slim chance it does, you cover it 100 percent. If they say no way, you know what to do. good luck and keep us informed. I heard it hurts like a mother %ucker too!!!

They always say that. To the point of saying "99.999999".

but they'll never say PERMANENT, cuz it ISN'T. If you wanna risk thousands of dollars to see if it's permanent or not, feel free.

I had back & shoulders done about 3 years ago. My back wasn't covered w/hair, I just didn't like what was there, so I had it done. I think it took about 6 sessions, can't remember what it costed. Some of the zaps hurt worse than others, depends on how many follicles are in the area, feels like you are being stung by sweat bees. I'm pretty pleased with the results. Some hairs have come back, but not as many as I used to have, probably not even half. Cannot answer question about juice affecting the hair growth, I'm all natty.
