laser face treatments ...had one?

i have some dark scars on my face from acne...(yes at 35) and i am interested in getting laser treatments. have any of you had them and what were they like and the cost? thanks

I can't tell ya cost....my friend does them free for me....but it feels like a hot snapping rubber band on your skin....

A friend of mine had a similar type of treatment on her face and neck for excessive hair growth.

She's had great results once she got past the rubberband type pain that Gymgurl described.

I had actually forgotten about it until I read Gymgurl's response.

I had a few treatments a while back for something similar to what you have. Yep, rubber band snaps! Usually it takes a couple/few times to REALLY see results. It's supposed to stimulate the collagen growth in the area being treated.

At the time I had mine done, it was $150.00 for 5 zaps (he gave me more than that though at no add'l charge). If you get a good dr. maybe he'll give you a few extra too. Price has probably gone up since then......
