Okay...if i put in my proxy address and port that is in my internet options, it asks for a username and password. I enter that in and my AIM begins to logon on and verify username and password that says the proxy fails.....I'm know it is because of the user/pass in the connection options....what user/pass is suppose to be used here. I thought it was suppose to be the same one that you use to log onto your coumputer and network...could it be different?
I am at work and can connect to the Internet fine. I enter my proxy address and port in AIM & MSN and the user id/password and it begins to log on, but then says the above id/pass are wrong. I have no clue what it can be. They all worked yesterday, so the port must of been blocked.
