Ladies, Birth Control Question???

This girl is arguing with me that she is supposed to start taking her Birth control pills on the sunday she gets her period. I said that is rediculous consdering the fact that the last 7 pills are sugar pills. she would get her period an extra week early next timje and be on hormones during her period. don't you start the pills after your period. I believe they are the ortho tri cyclene pills. and she is now going to begin taking them after months of not taking them

She should start them on Sunday........Period. If that is in the middle of her cycle or the end of the cycle it makes no difference. So the answer to your question is : Start the pills the first Sunday after she STARTS her period. Not the Sunday after it is over.
