You need to get an MRI done if you haven't already. Since there are many potential causes of kyphosis, you need to know which it is. It could be nothing at all and you could grind out 700lb deads like anyone else, or you may never be able to pull again(I doubt that one). Most likely, its a very minor thing, like edge said, and nothing to get worked up about. But you NEED to find out why you have it.
Some typical causes.........
osteoporotic compression fractures
degenerative disease (like arthritis),
spondylolisthesis (slipping of one vertebra forward on another).
infection (such as tuberculosis)
spina bifida (congenital deformity with
incomplete formation of part of the spine)
disk degeneration
endocrine diseases
and tumors
Backs are nothing to fuck around with or take for granted, trust me. Once you find out why you have it, and how severe it is, then you can determine what you can and cannot do.
