Knot at injection site!

I just stuck myself tonight and had my first ever injection problem. I've injected at least 75 times before. I did 2 ccs of test enanthate and when I pulled out I was bleeding much worse than I ever have before. Then within 5 seconds of pullling the needle out I noticed a knot formed. It is about half the diameter of a dime and is hard. It's kind of blue/gray color. It doesn't hurt too much though. Any ideas what went wrong? I confess, I did not aspirate (that's difficult when giving yourself a glute injection).

You probably went through a blood vessel. Especially if it bled that much. The knot if it's blue is probably a blood clot. Massage it a little, take a shower and it should go away in a couple days.

I was noticing this more and more as I was hitting hte same spots over and over. I would get hard lumps that would last about 2dy. I started rotating to many more spots and now no more lumps...
