Knee Support, what do you use?

A common trait amongs males in my family is having bad knees. This is more and more apparent to me each time i do squats. For now i am using elastic wraps to help but i still get pain and sometimes popping. What else do you all use for knee support? Links to the product are helpfull.

Why don't you go see a physiotherapist to have your knees evaluated. He will quickly be able to determine area's of your lower body that are weak, tight, loose, overactive, inhibited. Then he will be able to provide you some exercises that will actually help your knees improve and stay healthy.

Sure adding support may take the pain away, but it's not going to treat the problem.

Only reason i dont like the konos is they wear way to easily. Get some rehband (old style blue ones that are 7mm, the new ones are 5mm and not as good IMO).

One of the best things that you can do is email Jeff Bach at The Weak Get Eaten - Home Page and see what he would suggest. He is "old" (haaaaaa) and has been doing strength and physique sports for 25 years. He carries the Rehbands as well as a new kind (Vulkan) that he really likes.

Jeff is a "friend" that I get along with about half the time and I get NOTHING for suggesting him to you. He just knows his stuff when it comes to this. Mention that Clint Darden sent you and it could help you. An email never hurt...

I told Jeff to possibly expect an email from you. He said he would do all he could to help you.

Really good guy, sells competition quality and long lasting stuff (well worth the extra couple bucks). I've had mine and I get them filthy...and they are about 8 years old!
