I am scheduled for a total knee replacement soon and I would like some help with what stretching and strengthing exersizes would be best before and after surgery to help speed up recovery
I am 51, hockey, used to be a goalie, football, used to be a center guard, blew my knee out a few times, and rhuematiod arthritis now has destroyed all the cartiledge and has eroded the ends of the tiba and fibula and thigh bone. It is bone on bone now, so they are going to do a knee replacement wich basically just a joint relining. Hopefuly I will be able to get back to working out again afterwards : Sitting on the sidelines is killing me
