thats cool..know how that can get...i been doin ok since im gettin over this flu. trainings gettin better.

Do you feel that with events on Sunday that your legs get neglected in comparison to your lower back??? I might be switching days just so my legs get stronger, cause my lower back get so much work from events.

they did...but we started doin squats after gm's on sun and i think its really helpin...tryin to go up a lil ea wk. then w/de day i get in some stuff for my hams & hips bc i think mine are really weak.

Cool. I got some time to kill, on Conan wheels do you think it is better to drop the weight a little and go for speed and distance, I'm using a 3" thick bar, and I feel that even though I can do some decent weight for 50' that I am not learning how to walk fast with the weight

yea you know you can do the weight(500lbs) just take lighter runs for distance with say 350-425 or so. and make sure u are used to going clockwise

On most events concerning footspeed... I generally like to take heavier runs than I need to... that way when I pick up the lighter weights, I can smoke them.

Ive never really been a fan of training lighter than I need to in a competition.. unless I am alternating heavy weeks with lighter weeks.

I got ya on that Cuthbert, but I was thinking doing one or two heavy sets over contest weight and then some light ones to learn to be faster and to work on technique, such as turning, breathing on Zercher walks, working for leg endurance on the squat (hopefully I can get one)...

lol, clint. I honestly can say I try to train for more weight than every comp, but Boston I am trying just to get to that weight

I'll bring my body guard, Clint my attack me by mistake, I know he is real competitive and maybe looking at the longhaul when all of us gain 60-100lbs and become pro ;)

Actually when someone smokes me I'll probably cheer them on

yes, it is. The best feeling is hearing evryone give you all their support, competitiors, families, people you have never met and anyone who can feel your pain and desire. Truly a great sport.

p.s. I am sore as hell, lol

lol..my back is still sore from sun...that makes the workouts for the rest of the week that much worse...that long layoff KILLED me
