I went to a place called Ocean 211 in stamford, right by black bear and hula's. excellent seafood, really unique menu. my cousin and I had dinner at the bar and met the owner, some young hipster doofus. we ended up selling him coke and drinking there after the bars.

there is a little neighborhood italian joint right by my apartment called bella luna. it reminds me of home and is excellent home cooked Italian food.

And for the record, I have never ordered lasagna, pasta with gravy (sauce for the assnobblets), or chicken cacciatore in a restaurant.

I too come from a very Italian family and never order that shit out in a restuarant....being brought up on Italian food ED for my entire life..why would i want to order it when im out..plus i have yet to taste anything near my moms cooking when it comes to the traditional dishes..

The best restaurant I've been to in the Stamford area was Il Falco. The servings were perfect for the price and the atmosphere was very comfortable. I went there with my ex girl before hitting up Greenwich Ave for some shopping.

Agreed. I don't even like lasagna. Plus I prefer whole wheat pasta...try getting my mother to buy that and I'll give you all my K. Every fucking family party is the same old shit, seafood salad, cold cult platter, calamari, mozzarella balls with tomatoes, bruschetta, crap I can't even name...it's fine and all but it gets old. FAST.

BUT, Il Falco is the shit. It's not a huge place so early reservations are key. We went on Valentines Day so it might not always be busy, but plan early just in case. I got the pollo falco, it was amazing.

but that's only becasue I went out last night, and woke up late so I didn't have time to pack my shit. Jsut like you guys, I rarely eat Mexican food (aside from salsa), I can eat that shit at my moms any time. Now go home and get your fucking shine box!
