Isn't it lovely that the UN is extending aid to Haiti after the Hurricane. Has anyone heard about UN aid to Florida, Alabama,Georgia, Louisiana,N.Carolina,Tennessee & virginia after all the devastating weather we had here in the US.
Of course not,Americans Just dump money into this corrupt organization and recieve nothing but criticism of our policies & way of life.
Remove the UN from American Soil,Its so way past time to tear the building down and deport all these third world morons from this country,They are a cancer in our midst.

Who's paying for the UN ? tax payers. I dont care if they live in some shacks. I never asked to have my taxes used for this particualr purpose.

i agree. the UN has become useless to the US. we should withdraw immediately and have them move their headquarters!

Dont get me wrong, I fall into the "greedy and dont give a fuck about anyone" category, at least when it comes to my money.
But still....

A bigger point might be that the countries of the UN, which is largely funded by us if I'm not mistaken are constantly bitching about the US; when ironically, we are funding an organization that gives voice to countries that otherwise would have almost no say at all.

but still you are a hypocrite who wants to feel good about yourself and does not care ho willogical or backward your ideas are.

No prob orb, that's most people.

I'm not even flaming you, this is not personal, you're just a full-of-shit thoughtless jackass.

Where do you think money comes from? The sky? People create it of their own accord. Not governments, people. why are you in such a rush to move it elsewhere?

OK, this may be the stupidest post I've ever read (except for Bikinimom's trailer park ramblings). Anyway, how many people died in the hurricanes here in the USA? A small handful. By the time they are finished in Haiti the body count will be near 2,000 at least. These people lost their shelter, they have no food or potable water. Did any of you see the people lining up crying while relief workers distributed water? Guess what, that shit didn't happen here in the good ol U.S.A. It's going to be a long time before those people can even return to their normal impoverished lives.

No one is stopping you from helping out down there, or sending money to relief workers. How much did you send?

I sent $25 to the Red Cross. I hope it finds it's way to where it's needed. I also depend on my government to make reasonable use of my taxes for humanitarian purposes.

You might see things differently if you stepped outside your capitalist fantasy world for a few minutes.

Especially in Haiti. Do you realize how many goods America imports from Haiti? Without these impoverished nations, Walmart wouldn't have their $5.99 shirts that Americans so love.

I think it is very nice of you to send your money to the Red Cross. If not for taxes, you could have sent even more money.

Whether or not one decides to contribute should be their own decision, right?

When was the last time the UN did *anything* for the US that it couldn't do on it's own???

I've known people in the UN. Biggest bunch of over-pampered, pompous, arrogant, diplomatic-immunity-lovin', superficial, egostical jerks you'll ever meet. Did you know they only work like 7 days a month? The rest of the time is spent vacationing and getting favors for relatives and fancy dinners? Oh how much i'd KILL to get into the UN.

Its all about greed these days man.

damn man, that's so true. It's alarming how the supposive wealthest ef member is so resentful of the poor and needy. I think he would rather see some one die of starvation than lend a helping hand or donate a buck or two. furthermore, why does dude have to constantly remind us of his wealth and success? hmmmmmmm...
