Kick the protein out

When is it OK to drop the protein levels back to 1 g / lb bodyweight / day for those who are on a cycle.

I was planning on hitting 2 g / lb bodyweight / day on the cycle, and at least UNTIL clomid therapy. I was gonna drop the protein to 1 g at the start of clomid therapy, but keep the calories at 4500 / day. After the clomid therapy drop both back to normal until diet time. What do you suggest?

Unless you are a huge MF I would not recomend useing 2g of protein at all even when on cycle. People seem to think more is better and that is just not the case even when on cycle and this will very depending on the person but too much protein can cause kidney problems. 1 gram per lb is enough. - Superfrk

i agree with you....it kills me when some people tell me how much protein they consume in a single sitting, let alone a day. is 96 grams of protein in one sitting doing any more for you then 40-50 grams? nope. you body can only process that much in a 2-3 hour time period. i think it is insane to think you should attempt more. all you get out of it is a longer time on the can....hehe.
