Planet Terror..might be ok...never saw it..but Death proof absolutely sucked balls.

Belly. w/ DMX and Nas.?
Requiem was a bit gross, w/ the junkies and shit. rotting appendages.
i always get shit from vets over the thin line, cuz mccarthur and all......

Yes, that Belly. Trust me, I realize how ridiculous it sounds to say a movie is great with 2 rappers in it, but it's fantastic. They are pretty much playing themselves, so no ridiculous action scenes or anything. It's shot beautifully.

Requiem did get gross at times, but wasn't that the point?

Thin Red Line - eh, I don't bother trying to make accuracies out of movies. I just enjoy em for what they are. And that movie was as much about love and loneliness as it was about war

weird, i always did think Belly was a better movie than let on.
and the other 2 were top notch, also....Belly hit home w/me......
 
i remember brett easton ellis being reviewed in 86' along w/ a bodybuilder book. i can't remember the title, but it just strikes me as a time thing......

He writes some truly demented stuff (he wrote American Psycho, which was one of his less outrageous books). Supposedly a third movie is in the works for one of his novels. He's good - weird, disoriented at times, drug-fueled, sex-hungry, self-loathing. He captured the 80's and early 90's cocaine frenzy quite well in his rich white Hollywood / New England settings

that's so funny. i remember talks of banning back then. i remember the oral sex w/ a skull. funny how things change. it was near the tipper gore times, where they chose to censor things....Less than Zero was by Brett.....i used to tease my buddy from Grosse Pointe, used to tell him we'll play Less than Zero and he would play Julian........
