Ketosis = Bad??

How is ketosis bad for your body?? If it's between getting my BF down to single digits or having a healthy body, i'd prefer the latter.

Yeah... that's totally the case. I feel fatigued while my body is in transition into ketosis. My guess is the body just wants those friggin' simple carbs so it keeps telling me that I'm so exhausted. However, 2 days into it i get my energy back.

Ketoisis is horrible unless you are one of the people whp has neanderthals for relatives. It is unhealthy, hormone depleteing, muscle wasting, brain fogging
piece of trash! And guess what, you most certainly CAN rebound and get fat.

Look at the pros who stay on keto for a long time!

ROFL, amazing how myself and others i know have yet to suffer from these symptoms that the above describe. I'm 6 months in.

Umm..doesn't everyone have neanderthals as 'relatives?'

As usual I choose not to enter into the debate of whether keto or CKD is better than any other diets. I Merely wish to ask which "PROS" are using keto diets to prepare, and how do you know they are using this diet? In my personal experience, the pros generally shy away from keto diets.

KWKSLVR, you are not, and will never be, a professional bodybuilder. I don't say that to be cruel, but to put things in perspective. Keto is better than nothing for folks that can't lose/control their obesity any other way. Carbs are absolutley essential for pushing muscle gains to the max without AAS. So somewhere each and every true bodybuilder has to find a balance between muscle gain and fat loss. CKD works well for some bodybuilders, equal carb/protein and low fat works well for even more succesful bodybuilders. Atkin's style full time keto diet is useless for bodybuilders.

Short term ketogenic diets are not necessarily bad for your average couch potato. But long term there is a lack of research.
