keto & hunger

is it normal to be so hungry on a keto diet?ive been on it for 3 weeks & im getting hungrier by the day.this is worse than when i competed last year.
 
What are you eating? Sounds like you may be eating too much protein; the higher the ketogenic ratio (fat grams to protein grams), the fewer cravings you should have. Or it could simply be time for you to have a refeed...
 
How much do you weigh? I'd lower the % of fat and protein to 75/25. You might not be establishing ketosis which is the cause of your hunger.

I have been wondering the appropriate time for that. Have tried at different times and still hit purple.
