KETO and CREATINE

I'm starting keto today, and my question is: can I take creatine? Doesn't it convert to ATF or something, like carbs? So if I did take creatine, should I count it in with the rest of the carbs that I consume? I am trying to keep my carb intake below 20 grams right now, on the starting phase, so may be I should stop taking creatine? Tell me what you think about it.

Yes, you can take creatine. Although the underlying belief that creatine needs insulin to be transported to the muscle cells, that is not true. Creatine the travel w/in the body via the lower intestine w/o insulin present. Of course, not as effciently.

I think you might be a little off in the logic, it's not ATF it's ATP, but it does not convert to it, mostly helps the transformation from ADP (andreniline di-phosphate) to ATP (adrenilin tri-phosphate). Don't worry, if you're taking pure monohydrate, you do not have to worry about the carb count.
