I live in Murray and we train every Sunday. Events at 3:00 or 3:30. You should come down and train.
Not sure when the next contest will be. I hope to compete at my first Pro show in February and I may have another contest in the next several months...not sure yet.

Lived in Murray for two years. 95-97. Worked for Mattel. Used to train at the Y on 12th. Moved there when my now ex-wife wanted to return home (Benton). Absolutely loved the area.
Still have friends there I need to get down and see their new addition. I'll have to definately check you guys out.
Give me some directions and I'll see if I can't get down there in the next couple of months.

I trained at the YMCA from 1993-1999...not the one on 12th though...I hated THAT place. I only worked out at that one when the one at 5 points was closed. I was about 240 or so at the time, yelled a lot, did heavy squats, deads, and bench.
I live in Stella...on 121 going towards Mayfield...about 4.5 miles from Murray...

Yeah but the hotter chicks were at the 12th St. Location I did go to 5 points from time to time. Do you know Jeremy or Josh McKeel? Josh was a hoss who played for Calloway and MSU. So naturally strong. Used to put me to shame, but I had to remember he was 12 years younger.
Checked out your website. Will try and get in touch and maybe make down a weekend in August or October. Sept. is out for me as that is fiscal year end here at my company.

P.S. Is the Apple the same since they have a Murray Location now?

I went to Calloway also. I remember Josh but I don't really remember him being a 'hoss' though. I didn't think that very many people that were strong ever working out at the 12th street gym. I didn't go to the gym for chicks either...lol.
Come down in August...we are relaxing and having fun at the moment with out Training. Late August and September will be serious though...some of my guys are getting ready for Nationals.

Oh, we were there believe me.
LOL Now as for the chick part; going through a divorce, it was nice to have a little added scenery whilst hoisting the old iron. I was in the best shape of my life then. I was 5'11 and 255 at about 8-9% BF, all natural. I'm trying to get back there now!! It just get's harder as you get older. I just turned 38. Of course your priorities change with a family. My mind still thinks I'm 28 and full of strength and energy, it's just sometimes my body doesn't believe it!! I'll make it though.
