Just curious as to how much of you really get the hardwork to pay off at the end of a cycle?

Yes, in an ideal world, you should be able to keep the majority of what was gained but we do not live in an ideal weight and everyone will drop a little weight/size when off. It may be from water, lean tissue or what ever but just curious after seeing all the threads on here from a number of different people who lost significant gains when off.

So when you come off after a cycle, what kind of gains did you lose?

Just curious.
 
gained 23lbs lost 6 overall kept 17lbs on 25mg of dbol a day, u prob seen me say this alot thats all i talk about on here :). btw strength remained basically the same, maybe a rep or 2 lower on some exercises

i think gains are more keepable at lower doses just my opinion

How long was that cycle? Do any PCT?
 
It's almost impossible to keep mass above your genetic limitations when you come off, that's why so many stay on.
 
I actually continue to gain through PCT.

I will initially drop a couple pounds right off the bat, but my strength stays, and I gain all the weight back within 4 weeks.

I have really never lost any gains.

My first couple of cycles I lost very little to nothing (No PCT either). Now it takes a tremendous amount of effort to keep a fraction of my gains when I come off.

Have you(dabuffguy) done many cycles?

ya same here with my last cycle i gained about 5lbs after the 4th week of pct

PCT,,eating,,,supplements,,,training all become a factor after cycle.
I tell my athletes to try to forget that their "OFF" and work like they were still "ON"
 
I use a number of methods to keep gains so don't have the issue too much but I recently ended a cycle and had joint issues with an elbow and shoulder so although my legs gained some weight post cycle, I definitely lost some size on the upper body - not much but it was depressing as hell. When your shoulder is out for the count it pretty much prevents chest and shoulder excercises and some back exercises. Actually it was very depressing.

Quite possibly but I am sure you have been around long enough to know the majority of steroid users are no longer the experienced men but those children who are too impatient to even reach that genetic limit you speak of.

I have heard mixed arguments for training at the same intensity when coming off as when on.

Still not fully convinced on that one as when off, natural t does not come back immediately and training at the same intensity as when your body is full of anabolics may be counterproductive.

Please explain your reasoning,

I did a gangster cycle 1-6 w tren e 400/w
1-14 w test e 500/w
1-12 w eq 600/w
6-12 anavar 50 /d
12-15 winny 350/w

During the cycle I used arimidex and hcg. When I was coming to the end with one compound I always tapered down the dose. My PCT is hcg/clomid /nolva I've takimg at least 350g of protein a day and try to eat 6 times a day and consume like 3500-4000 calories depending on my day.. Been taking a LOTS of natural supplements, aminos and creatin. From the cycle I gained like 8 pounds of lean muscle what is not too much, but I got extremely solid looking and strong. People in the gym came to me and told me I look great and got bigger big time. Actually I did not, but because of the defined and solid look I looked liked really big. So I'm 6'1 and was 190 pounds lean muscle with 4% bodyfat.

Now I'm on my PCT and feel GREAT! Still look solid and pumped, have mty six pack and very strong. My sex drive is excellent.

So what changed? Lost a little size and don't look unreal anymore..lol Can't go to the gym every day, because I need more time for recovery, but still go 4 times a week and train hard: high intensity training, strength training, supersets, dropsets.

Right now I'm 182 and 6% bodyfat:)

Anyways I'll start my simple tbol/ test e cycle in october and can't wait..haha
