Remember to use the RIAA ip blocker that Kazaa lite has built in, and keep it up to date!

Also, use Peer Guardian. It seriously helps to stop p2p snoops from dragging you off to court for copyright violations. I'm using it now while I use bit torrent, and I'm surprised as hell at how well it blocks those bastards.

Movie sharing is getting hit pretty hard now. There's many new companies that scan peer to peer networks gathering info. Most of the time you will get a good old C&D letter forwarded from your isp.

Unless you are a master of ip spoofing, best to be safe than sorry. Those bastards can fuck you bad, legally.

Kazaa actually sued and made Google take "Kazaa Lite" results off of Google I heard.

Check out http://www.download.com/ too, but make sure not to download anything about Kazaa from that site, as most of the "Kazaa Add-ons" or other related programs are simply RIAA spyware or viruses, etc.

And even in the USA, the RIAA and other organisations can hardly take very fucker to court can they?

File sharing stays alive because people share... so why not just use the security options within kilite++ and stop being so paranoid... you are unlikely to be taken to court....

Also, the RIAA is mainly looking for the sharing of mainstream popular artists like Britney.. I don't have much mainstream stuff, and the mainstream stuff I do have I don't bother to share - there is already tons of Moby etc out there... but like I said, I am in thje UK and I currently have nothing to fear...
