Kazaalite still seems pretty good for music. Although I use newsgroups too. Plus it has the search options feature which is good so you can set it to search files 192kps or better. Generally the 192kps MP3 are the real thing plus the sound a little better too.

I think the RIAA recently implemented corrupt files on kazaa and they're being spread (you hear weird machine noises or repetitious lyrics in an mp3 file)
