Funny thing is.. the guy on the other thread started by KAYNE stated that American cars are shit and one day we(USA) will be able to make cars as fast as the Toyota Supra!!!

I am a fan of the smaller tracks. I like the ones that are 1/8th mile. It is usually less crowded and you can stand next to the cars when they take off.

What do you guys think about the '03 cobra? 390hp supercharged stang sounds pretty nice. A dealer told us the price was estimated at around 33k which is really really nice

Ford underated the HP and also the boost. Ford reports the car pulls 8lbs of boost. Several Mags report that when they went on a test drive the car pegs 10lbs several times.... A ton of hp can be added to this car by changing the Super charger pulley and adding a chip that is matched w/ the new boost. (This engine is built to handle a ton of hp w/ the Manley H beam rods, forged dished top pistons, and forged steel crank). They also replaced the flywheel w/ an 11lb aluminum flywheel so it will turn up faster. Upgrading the exhaust will also improve hp. All is this in front of a six speed tranny..... OMG! I'm in love... '
My local dealer is supposed to get them in in mid MAY.. I can't wait.. May GT Conv may be leaving the corral to make room for this baby.

I love the sound and feeling (the ground vibrating) of jet/funny cars going down the track.....but of course i can't hear after that.....omg
