Karma Spreading??? Mods Please Answer???

How much Karma do I have to "spread around" before I can give again. It seems that I have given an s-load away and still cannot give it to someone who posts good shit that I last gave it too almost a week and a half ago...What is up mods?? And why is there a waiting period--I mean what if someone posts good stuff a lot-why no karma giving? Pamela Lee I think you are here tonight.....What up yo? :)

Its to prevent abuse of the karma system. If karma was freely given without a limit people would be giving it non-stop. As for the other question, I have no idea about the technical workings of the karma system. An administrator would know.

Way too much emphasis is put on karma. Whether it is people complaining about it, trying to get a new title, or simply whoring around. Just go with the flow guys! If you see something good (and you're able to), then give the person karma. If you can't, then say oh well and go on. There's always next time. This isn't directed at you avenirup. You seem like a cool guy. This thread will be locked though because it deals with that entity known as karma. It will most likely be turned into a karma thread. Karma had a lot of possibilities but people chose to abuse the system, hence restrictions were installed from the beginning, such as spreading.

What is the big deal with it--it is not like you win a million dollar for the most karma points--it is just a way of saying "good job with the post". Why can't I give someone karma everytime they post something I thought was good???

It's because people turned it into a joke, instead of a reward for a good post. It no longer stands for "good job with the post" but "hit me back" instead.

No, they aren't going to win a prize. It's just the intention behind the karma system. lol. Why am I arguing this? I'm not a mod or even platinum. I'm going to bed. :)

Hey -- why should it? Why should you have to put up with that?

The person who hijacks this thread is going to lose more karma than he or she makes from it. That's a promise. I don't want to hear them complain they weren't warned, either -- I'll pimp-slap them again if they whine about how much K they lost.

digger i have a serious question.

when you go to sodomize someones karma do you just decide how much you want to hit them with (like do you have that option on your admin screen) or do you go into some database or something and adjust their karma accordingly?

if you go into the database have you ever messed up and given someone so much karma that the server exploded?

i earnestly await your reply!

It depends. I can hit you like any other user, 'cept I'm good (or bad) for 50 points at a shot.
I can also go into the admin screen and type in any number I feel like. (How about zero? You like zero? If zero's not good, we can try minus ten.)

If your signature says anything to the effect of "Karma is (always) returned," you're a candidate to join the Elite Society of People Without Karma, because "giving karma back" is cheating. If you're reading this and feel a need to go fix your signature, please do.

At 35,000 your legend changes from "(User) has spent way too much time here" to "(User) is a cheater, because no one can get that much K honestly." I can hardly wait to see whether the first guy to hit that gets stuck with it forever. Will his buddies send him red to rescue him? Stay tuned.

I think when you reach a certain karma you should be able to pick out a hot EF chick and bone holy hell outta her (or him if you're so inclined). The more karma the hotter the babe you can pick.

so do you have like a karm-a-o-meter? this would function to see how much karma is being dispersed at any one given time. im wondering if through this technology you could send some sort of energy pulse back through the system which would eject something like a proton beam (out of the monitor, since the other stuff may not be directly in front of the person) like from ghostbusters and completely incapacitate the ''whore'' in question?

id be up for designing it. i would like to test it on jerkbox and burning inside. thanks.
 
there are people here less time than me that have so much K it doesn't make sense. I could understand if they had great tits or somethin.
