Duh by getting karma only way to increase karma is by getting it.

No..for example if I give you karma (good luck on that one), how can I the "Giver "determine how many points I give you--for example I give you 5 points but another member gives you 30......How can karma points differ...??

It depends on how many points you have for example sawastea has well over 20k in karam points and hits for like 30+ points. I am not sure what I hit for but i have almost 5k.
