One of our dogs often eats soil. I think he must be missing some nutrients in his diet.

Dirt is good for your digestion and immune system. Every big sister knows that.

exactly:) i think before he ate dirt, he didnt get good grades in school, then after i started making the mud pies, he started actually getting good grades

oh and when we were kids, he had chiggers(if your southern you knwo what they are) on his weenie( i think we were like 5 and 4) and he told my mom that he was itching, and she was talking to someone, i said come on "day day"(his name is jay) ill make it better
i took him to the bathroom and put absorbine jr on it
He screamed for 20 minutes after that
but dang it it got rid of the chiggers

Is your dog a bitch?

If so she could be pregnant and suffering from PICA what is PICA you may be asking, well....

Pica is a medical condition typically defined as the persistent eating of non-food items for a period of at least one month. People with pica crave and eat materials such as dirt, clay, chalk, lead chips, laundry starch, dishwashing soap, chalk, burnt matches, and many other non-food substances. Some of these substances are poisonous.

They have a link between this condition and pregnancy.
