I belong to both Bally's and 24hour fitness and across town they have a gymnasium court. Six hoops like in high school gyms. Totally awesome but I dont work over on that side of town and the ballys and 24 close dont have basketball setup.
Although there is a park here that I ran games last year when I had time. Six hoops out in the park like a mile.
HS kids, everyone goes there to run. Actually shit. 8 baskets. Two full court games can be run vertical or horizontal. Shoot on the four side hoops until you are up.
I am going to head down there I think. Weather is getting nice in Portland, sunny today.
Get some hoops in. I rock in hoops, school the kids lol. Shit is funny, muscle downlow. throw them around.
Would be great fun.
Leagues, well I always have something come up and I am so sick of having to be somewhere. Pick up games are great and informal I like that.
Great cardio running full court too. I have played full court all day long. A few hours running full goes by in an instant and you get along of exercise in.
Even just shooting hoops and practicing til people show up is great.

Compuware used to let us skate until 4 or 5 in the morning if there was nothing going on the next day. 7 bucks and we played hockey until the sun came up. My favorite place to play hockey besides Yost Arena in Ann Arbor.

I just think this fashionable thing of getting attention by captivating guy's fantasy of lesbo has taught young American women to talk about lesbianism.

So I have grown exponentially b/c of my profession. I cant judge people b/c we were all young and dumb.

I dont know, when you work with these old farts every day you start to see a pattern. The cool fun patients have families and people who care. The people who lived a life like some here glorify. They have no one who gives a shit.

I see some people here dying in an empty bed with no one surrounding them b/c no one gives a shit b/c they never gave a shit. They never built karma by doing the little things.
Thats how you build karma, by small positive acts as part of who they are. Like sending cards, spices, hellos, smiles, hugs, genuine listening and caring. People can tell a sociopathic fraud doing that b/c it never can be sustained.
Its so important to define what you want in life and the most important thing, I have learned from my experiences, is to do the little things for other people. THe card, the hello, the listening, not talking but active listening in confidence for someone who just needs to talk to someone.
