Tonight was my second night of my Kajukenbo class and I literally cannot get up or lay down without serious exertion and pain. I must have been thrown down on the concrete floor by my throat more than 100 times alone. I have serious welts on my shins, ankles and joints from getting beaten with practice sticks. I have bruises all over from being pricked and prodded with practice knives. This is pure fighting with no spirituality or religion involved. It is a Hawaiin art that was developed for protection against Samoan Gangs. Man I sure am paying the toll in body aches though!
