Just watched Napolean Dynomite

Jesus Christ above, someone should have taken a fucking rusty coathanger to this movie. terrible. not one funny moment. I love weird, different movies, that's why I gave it a chance. I should have known it would have been shite when a good % of the population loves it. terrible.
 
you went in expecting too muich.

i went in thinking wha tthe hell could this be about and just burst out laughing at the stupid random shit.

plus it reminds me of myself, minus being ugly and skinny
 
It seems to be a love it or hate it kind of movie.. I keep getting mixed reviews, one day I'll rent that mofo and see.

Surely it can't be worse than "Moulin Rouge".

Watched "Anchorman" last nite -- hubby said it was the worst movie ever....I thought it had funny moments...

I'll prolly watch ND so I can tell step daughter I saw it...she LoVeD it!
 
My Anchorman experience sounds similar to KB's ND experience. I had wicked high hopes for Anchorman and left pretty disappointed. ND is a pretty stupid fuckin movie I think, it just has a lot of great quotable moments. Not once did I really truly laugh. Nothing in it is cleverly written, set up, or anything like that. It's just stupid off the wall shit, which in my mind doesn't take any talent or originality.
 
didn't expect much, just didn't do anything for me. no clever moments, no funny parts, not much worthwhile originality. just a bunch of stupidity with no meat on the bones.

I downloaded it ,I wouldnt pay for it,but it was much better then anchorman imo,with stupid funny shit throughout

the only thing redeeming about the movie was the boobie flash in one scene. But otherwise f that movie.

lol - I'm 25! I think it may just be for people that "get" the really stupid type of humor, which has never been my thing. Although I love dumb and dumber and a few of those movies, but this one was just not funny to me.

theriously? half the younger kids in my office (21ish) are obsessed with it. It's just not my humor. I am tough on movies. I expect more.

Trust me SeaCanuck, it's far worse than Moron Rouge. I watched Napolean Abominationite for 15 minutes then ripped the DVD out.
 
ppl who are in boner highs with that flick are usually inferiour all the way. they start to relate to N.P and loser Kip so they were like OMG that ruled... and start all this shit about it but they are just pussies tring to find some0ne in society who is a pussy they can identify with .. since he is pseudo famous it is ok to indenfy with a pussy....

It's a shit movie for the most part. Anyone who likes it either had no expectations going into it or subconsciously wants to like it based on the premise and oddity of it. White Chicks would be funnier than ND.
 
It's a pretty funny movie if you live in Utah or Idaho. The rural ares are exactly like that. I didn't think it was that good, but it had its moments. I wouldn't recommend it, but a lot of people have liked it. Nice avatar as always Killa.
 
how could you not laugh at the REX KWAN DO part? when Kip sweep kicks Dietrich Bader's character? And also that part with their uncle throwing the football? "Bet you I can throw it over dem mountains over 'ere"

i didnt laugh at it until like the 3rd time i watched it then it became halarious for some reason and also this kid that comes into the gym that is like 11 look exactly like napolean and it cracks me up

I agree with ya s.d. I was waiting for someone to step up and be funny in Anchorman, and no one ever did.
