I think there was an air bubble in my pin when injecting!!!! Should I be worried ? First time this has happened :worried:

YES! the air bubble will travel to your heart and expode it!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :) kidding...you should be fine...

thats why u have a drop of oil out of the needle before injecting... if your referring to the air bubble after aspirating, thats normal... and you'll be fine

The air bubble will only kill you if your injecting in to your viens.

Note that it would also have to be a huge bubble. Like a measurabubble. :qt:

yea sometimes you just can't get all the air out without wasting gear. if its a tiny bubble your fine

I Always push out a drop or two but when I stuck and aspirated it seemed more than normal and then I was not sure if I did or didn't push out a drop or so. ... Fuck it's true the older you get the more you forget and the only thing on my mind is Booty. Im hitting the gym then a cold shower

Thanks

Exactly...and from what I've read you'd have to inject a full 3 cc's of air to actually kill yourself.

Injecting air into a vein is not a problem because when venous blood reaches the lungs it is taken out, hitting an artery is another matter, if the bubble travels to your heart or brain you could have an MI or a stroke. Small bubbles into muscle or even a vein is no real problem but of course it is to be avoided. If you ended up with the lumen of the needle in an artery blood pressure would probably blow the plunger out unless you were pushing on it.

i was all freaked out about air bubbles when i first learned to inject. nothing bad ever seems to happens when there a few remaining bubbles though.

you need to flick the syringe with your finger to move as much air out as possible and slowly push the plunger to get air out. sometimes it is next to impossible to remove all air without wasting precious juice. :p

worst thing that happens is you cough a little. gotta admit i have become lax about aspirating. never do it anymore.
