It's 10am & I just finished 2hrs of data entry & web management. Now there's not much to do before lunch.
Work just gets so borrrrring sometimes & there's nothing to do.
I have to make 3 computer related deliveries this afternoon. I get anywhere from $5-$30 tip money depending on the size of the delivery & where I have to go. But I use a company van b/c my car is still under warranty.
My primary job I was hired for was photoshop but a few divisions including this one moved to Vancouver. They still have me doing photoshop but they give me other jobs as well like data entry & web management along with photoshop work, & deliveries of computers.
Part of what the company does is they build Pentium 4 computers & sell them to businesses & large companies along with supplying computer software, accessories, & hardware & it's my job to deliver them out.
I get about $30/hr under the table plus tips which isn't bad.
Plus some days I can work from home as certain days all I do all day is photoshop work, data entry or web management which I can do from home.
So usually I wake up early at 6am or 7am & do all my work in a few hours & then I have the rest of the day & evening to myself.
But all this will be changing as I'm going back to school for 12 months in my computer tech support/networking program that my work is paying for & sending me to. They will pay the $500 tuition & pay me for 6-7hrs a day that I'm at school so I won't be getting tip money for deliveries oh well. & my school will be from 8:30am to 3:30pm so I will have to be up at 6:30am nothing unusual, eat right after school head to the gym for about 4:30pm & then be asleep by 11pm.
The course I'm taking is an equivalent course of Delta or CDI college but government funded so I only pay $500 tuition.
How many of you enjoy having a daily routine?
I personally sometimes get bored of them, while other times I feel secure knowing what I'm going to be doing from one day to the next.
I can be spontaneous which is why I at times get bored of the daily routine.
