I'm pretty sure the HULK is going to be completely CGI, that is,
he's going to be purely computer generated. 100% fake.

The Hulk is generated but honestly the physique of the hulk was determined by Lee Priests physique. peace

Alright alright, since you guys are my bros I'll tell you... sigh... it's gonna be me.

ah, that sucks! I would have been cool to see a Lou Frigno type of character playing him again. It would have really been interested to see who they would have picked to play him. Lee priest is kinda short though!

crum whats him being black got to do with it

I would say everything since Bruce Banner is white. Lee Priest isn't near large enough! The Hulk should be someone about 6'5" or taller.

who knows who the big guy in the green mile is? hes real tall and huge but also a bit fat.

Michael Clark Duncan. The guy's a horse. He'd be a perfect Hulk. Too bad they won't go with the real thing.

Michael Clark Duncan will be playing the Kingpin in the Daredevil movie coming out next year starring Ben Afflick. I know Kingpin is white supposed to be white but other than that Duncan really fit the role.

Wow! There is a Daredevil movie in the works? This is enough to make a Marvel/DC comic reader from way back sport some serious wood!

Ben Afflick would be miscast as Matt Murdock however. It should be a lean, muscular, brainy lawyer type. Hmmmm. Maybe Dennis Quaid or Kevin Costner with some SERIOUS gym work.

As far as the Kingpin is concerned, it would have to be a huge man with little muscle definition, but extremely powerful. Probably someone playing offensive guard for Nebraska.

Well they are already making the movie soon you are gonna have to live with been as Daredevil. If Daredevil is half as good as Spider-man it will be awesome and i think it will be. Marvel has really stepped up as of late, Blade I & II, X-men and Spider-man. Need I say more.

If they make a Fantastic Four movie I will simply cum. That is my favorite group. Maybe it is not too late to provide cast input for that one.

Let's see:

Reed Richards- Michael Keaton
Johnny Storm- Chris O'Donnell
Sue Storm Richards- Cameron Diaz
Ben Grimm- Arnold (would have to gain weight)

and the super villian

Prince Namor- Matt Dillon (with gym work)

That is awesome. Are there that many folks out there that still read comics, or used to? I mean, I am sure most don't know who Iron Fist is, he only had a mag for a short while in the mid-seventies. He was good though, inspired by the Kung Fu tv show, I think.

I think the arch enemy of the FF is Victor Von Doom.

Ben Affleck, I agree, doesn't seem like the right actor for
Daredevil.

You know who would be perfect? Guy Pearce. The guy in
Memento, Rules of Engagement, Time Machine, etc. He could
pull off Daredevil.

I know not many people like it, BUT I can't wait for the Ghost Rider movie to come out. I still ahve every issue of teh second edition of ghosty. Saw some of the first ghost rider, but the crazy old man wanted way too much for them.

"if done right" are the magic words
I can't see Iron Fist or another Punisher doing well. Iron Man.... no. Silver Surfer would need too many special effects to look decent, let alone good (the whole Galactus universe thing). DareDevil would definitely have the audience on his side. Ghost Rider has the most potential for a creepy movie.
Anyone else heard a rumour somewhere about a Sub-Mariner movie? Or is it just the character showing up somewhere else?

what would be really cool... in the opening sequence of Spider-Man, he takes out Kraven the Hunter, who was working for JJJ :)

Whoever said Lee Priest is the model for the Hulk, is correct. Check out www.darkhorizons.com -- they have a little blurb about it.

As for Afleck as Daredevil, whilel I generally hate him, he's a good actor with the right material. I saw a rough cut of Sum of All Fears, and he's really fucking good -- I figured he'd end up as the poor-man's Harrison Ford, but nope, he does his own thing. Cool movie too (I'm surprised they had the balls to make it...those who've read the book know what I'm talking about).

Ghost Rider could be really good, provided they get a good director and not some hack who'll rip off Batman or The Matrix.

Anyone here collect comics?

I have a bunch of old comics from the 90's and shit.

I have tons of autographed ones. My favorite is the Glow in the Dark Ghostrider cover, autographed. I have some other crazy ones too...fuck they've just been sitting my garage all in their little plastic cases for almost 8 years...damn.

I have 2 copies of the glow in the dark stashed away at my folk's house, shit though, not autographed. lucky bastard.
My favorite was #18 I think it is. I have 3 copies. It was the first ghost rider I ever read.

Wiskey, how much is my shit worth? Any idea? Bro I have tons of these fucking cool comics all in mint condition, I have no idea how much they are though....

Actually, the Hulk is NOT going to be 100% CGI/Fake.

Taken from www.thehulk.com:

"Eric Bana (Black Hawk Down) stars as scientist Bruce Banner... yada yada yada... Bana plays both the human Banner and - through groundbreaking visual effects technology... yada yada yada... - the superhuman HULK"

So the Hulk is going to be played by a man wearing a computer generated costume... hehehe :)
