So let me get this straight; they filmed the whole thing, but only actually broke in to the vault at the end. So what was the point of climbing through the elevator etc?? All they needed was the video feed and the blackout to make the breakin believable. Then come in afterwards and swap bags like they did. So why did they need all the people? Given the ending, the whole movie makes less sense than Mulholland Drive

i think it's one of those movies you can watch a few times and see from a different point of view each time, and things will gradually make more or less sense. im not sure about the movie myself, but i liked it a lot, and will watch it again when it comes out on rent. peace.

How did they know what the inside of the vault actually LOOKED like? How could they have built a model of it.

movies are ALWAYS real.
never question that.

either that or learn to suspend disbelief and enjoy :)
deus ex machina
2 : a person or thing (as in fiction or drama) that appears or is introduced suddenly and unexpectedly and provides a contrived solution to an apparently insoluble difficulty

worst plot device invention ever. I feel cheated paying money for bad craftmanship when the writer doesn't even try to cover the plot holes.
