Why? I'm not trying to be rude, but do you hang out on the beach, or did you get them cuz it fits the summer image?

I'm actually curious, I've always wanted to ask people why they buy them only during the summer. I wear a necklace similar all year, but then again, I'm at the beach at least 4 times a week throughout the entire year as well.
