Just ordered some new boots!!!

nice bro, wear those to squat in and grapple in.

Train in steel toed boots to work on foot speed, help out a lot on lateral movement and positioning. Then go to the shoes you just got to do ring work in, you'll be much faster and you punches will be faster, and so will your strikes and take-downs
 
interesting....... i guess training in steel toed boots would kinda like be wearing those big calf shoes, so when you take the off, your more agile and flexible.

I use to try ankle weight but they slide too much and really whip your feet around. boots are great cause they make you naturally pick your feet up more and are much more snug.

p.s. Nick, do ringwork with the shoes you bought, not boots. the boots are used for agiligy drills and jump roping. Like a squat suit or bench shirt you need to get use to the shoes inside the ring to get full use out of them
