just ordered my package overseas...any tips to recieve??

Definately don't sign. Whenever I am expecting a package I always clean my house out and get rid of all illegal substances. That way if they search, they'd find nothing. -I have heard a lot of times they don't neccessarily bust you for what you are receiving, but what they find in your house when they search.

(i was just joking, I don't do any illegal substances )

just use your head and don't do any of the obvious things that you shouldn't do. you'll be fine. unless you're receiveing a lot of stuff, they won't bother with you.

My source says if i get a custums letter then he will resend, but he also said that some of his clients have had to sign, but usually not.

if you are not expecting a package and the mailman comes to your door and says he has a package addressed to you and asks you to sign for it what are you going to do?

You are not going to sit there on your front porch and convince the postman that you were not expecting anything and therefore do not feel comfortable indicating you know what is in the package by signing for it, because it may be something illegal.

You just sign for the thing, open it, and see what it is. All this dont sign, false name, "return to sender", james bond shit is much more incriminating than simply doing what is natural.

Have the package addressed to you and sign for it. They cannot prove that you knew the contents of the package. They CAN prove you knew the contents of your house or apartment and that is why they have a search warrant and are waiting for you to establish probable cause by signing for the package.

The charges always get dropped for posession of what was in the package but they get you on what you have in your house. That is why you must have a clean place whenever you are expecting a delivery.

1. Have it addressed to you and sign if required
2. Have a clean house.
3. Do not consent to a search.
4. Do not talk to cops before talking to an attorney.
5. Always be respectful.

somtimes you can have to sign for overseas packages, just make sure you ask your source what the deal is, one of the best overseas sources i know of requires a signature upon delivery.
