Just Ordered DNP Today..............

My buddy just ordered some raw DNP tosay and I thought you guys might be interested in what the conversation with the chemical supply company guy went like....so here it is(not verbatum).

Store clerk: "Hello" & Name of Co.

My Buddy: "Yes, Im looking for a chemical & I'd like to know if you carry it.....-2, 4 Dinitrophenol?"

SC: "Yes we have it"

MB: "What is the minimum order for that product"?

SC: "1 ounce"

MB: "How much is 1 ounce sir?"

SC: Says Price

MB: "Do I have to pay by Credit Card, or can I send you a money order"

SC: "A money order is fine"

MB: "Do you ship out of state, or just within your state?"

SC: "NO, we ship out of state. The shipping is extra"

MB: "Is there a hazmat fee with that"?

SC: "No, not with that"

MB: "Ok, who do I make the MO out to"?

SC: Gives name

MB: "Ok Thanks. Is thewre any other info you need from me, or that I need to know before I send this MO"?

SC: "No. Just remember to put you name, addy , & telephone number & the product you want with the order".

MB: "Ok, thanks alot sir"

SC: "Your welcome".

Thats it------no question asked.

I am definitely not an authority on this topic, but I don't think its illegal to possess for non human uses. But law inforcement agency's are known to contact vendors and have them pass on information about odd purchases of certain chemicals. Now, if your friend was a frequent customer and known to use it for University research or agricultural reasons then I doubt any red flags would go up. Under these circumstances though, the customer will usually buy in bulk quantities and if its for a University it will come from a major distributor like Sigma. But like I said I am no expert.

DID YOU GUYS EVEN READ THE THREAD?? My buddy asked the guy what was the lowest amount that the company would sell & the guy then said an ounce. It isn't like he was pushing ounces on him & the co. DOES have a website & they show ounce prices!! You guys saying how risky this is & then respond by saying that "well Im not an expet", shouldn't give a blanket statement that its risky, if you have no clue what your flapping about! FYI-----IM ABSOLUTELY POSITIVE that DNP is 100% LEGAL to posess. I've done my research on the subject & wouldn't say this shit if I hadn't. I dont do that shit which is more than I can say for some of the DOOM & GLOOMERS here. As long as my boy isn't selling the shit for human use---he's fine.

Yes, its legal to possess BUT they CANNOT sell you DNP UNLESS
you have an account with them and ARE CERTIFIED.

Hey pal, no reason to be a DICK about it. I said it was risky because of recent events relating to DNP. The degree of risk is going to be dependant on the location of the purchase, and please show me an expert on risk and DNP. I was only trying to be helpful and provide what I do know. The "I am no expert" was just to let you know that I don't claim to know it all and its my opinion...would you rather me bullshit you? The example I give you is legitimate when it comes to meth. There are a lot of places that if you buy a case of starter fluid, you can bet you'll be watched. But like I said, this is just one scenerio.

ALSO, DNP is not a scheduled chemical like some that are used as precursors to meth such as ACEDIC ANHYDRIDE & METHYLAMINE, or EPHEDRINE. I did my research on THAT too PAL...thats how I know. It isn't on any type of alert list. And as far as going into an Auto Supermarket and having the DEA on your ass for "buying a case of starter fluid" as you say....That is the biggest crock of shit I've ever heard. I wish you the best bro. I had no intentions of starting an argument by my initial post. Written expression has always been weak with me, and once again I failed to clearly convey my point. I wasn't trying to give anyone a lesson on what chemicals are legal or illegal to purchase or possess. I was primarily referring to the arousal of suspicion through such purchases. As far as the ether goes though, I do know of instances where stores have cooperated with local authorities when extraordinarily large quantities of precursors or solvents have been purchased. Of course I am talking about Meth only here, but it seems it would apply to other substances as well, especially if they were given some leads and wanted to investigate further. I have never heard of the DEA being contacted by the stores directly, which doesn't suprise me, since the initial investigation usually begins with the local law enforcement.

I also recently ordered dnp powder from a chem supply co. They said no license or permit was needed – just an id when I pick it up.... Think I should be worried?

I do have a question about making caps from the powder. How is the powder dried? Is it simply set out overnight, or is a heat lamp needed? The powder is explosive when dry, no?

And is ordering your own raw DNP any more risky than ordering from sources(as you say)and putting your life in the hands of some mother fucker you met over the internet????? How safe is that???
