Just got my TEST results back

I am 37 yrs old.,I have been clean from cycling for 2 yrs. now.I started cycling back in 2000,and did about 2 cycles per year, until about 2006.I ran mostly moderate cycles(500mg test per week,or less for 8 weeks).I had my test levels checked back in 2001,shortly after a cycle, and tested at 120.Now I just had them tested after a 2 yr. layoff, and they came back at 269.Should I be happy with that?Or should I try to suppress my levels, and get retested so I can go on TRT?I really don't like the idea of being on the low end of the "NORMAL" range.I was really hoping my levels were low enough to start TRT.Where do most doctors like to see there their patients,as far as levels go when on TRT?I guess my question is,would I benefit by going on TRT,if I could get my levels down enough?

I wouldn't be.

It varies. Many doctors still do not even support TRT. Get in to see an endo.

Why not try to get your levels back to mid range with the help of your doc? Or better yet, see an endo. There maybe underlaying causes or you may simply be a candidate for TRT.

The problem is,doctors and ins. company's think as long as you fall into the "NORMAL" range, you don't need TRT.That's why I was thinking of suppressing my levels, and get retested.I would hate to go through all the trouble,if he is just going to get me back to where I was to begin with.

Where in the range are you? There are several different ranges used.

What about your cholesterol? Free testo? PSA? BP and esto? Remember that
you are measuring a system and tinkering with one link has a ripple effect.

Changes in diet and recovery can work wonders. Think about this before you reach for aas. I dieted successfully in 2006 and had outstanding readings on my blood testing.

However I dropped from 225 to 169 and looked like the transparent man. I worked out hard but the weights were a pitiful low amount. My ego couldn't take a little 16 inch arm and sticks for legs.

Both above mentioned are true BUT you really need to see an Endo first to see about your thyroid levels, etc which can somehow factor in play with many things. At 37 years, those Test levels are too low, IMO. I was at a 324 and felt sjuggish, tired, low sex drive, not as focused, and a bit out of motivation to workout. Once you get an Endo's opinion, seee what they say about your problem that he saw. If he for some reason does not script you TRT, them I would opt to start looking for an HRT clinic. Insurance and Doctors in HRT treatment alot of times do not go well together, got to do with insurance covering HRT, procedure codes, etc. I pay out of pocket every 6 months for a script of Test Cyp. that will last me a long time at 100mg a week. Insurance will cover my blood test and depending if the clinic files insurance, which mine does not BUT I get what is most important, a Dr. who understands what your needs are, NOT what a determined range level by group of folks who deemed Test levels to be at for every person. Its how you feel and how well its working out for you according to the Dr. monitoring your progress every 5-6 months.
