How are you on the #2?
I've been stuck in pretty close to the same place for a few weeks now. I managed to get it closed 2x the other day...the #3 is still a long way away.
i just got my #2 in the mail 2 days ago. thats one tight mofo! gotta get really good with the #1. i can close it a few times in a row, i mainly do static holds with it. that helps my holding strength tremendously.

Yes. Filing it down will make it even harder to hit 20+ reps, but when you do you should have some good crushing strength. Its going to take me some time to rep the #2 for 20+ reps. Ive only closed it fully once since I got it. Keep it up!
LOL I don't even have the No #2. I think I should really buy the No #2 now. But still, training on the number 3 is better than nothing. Im straining my hand so hard and its a good workout. I hope I don't get athritis from doing this too often.
