Just got a script for Propecia from the doc

went in and said doc i'm losing hair ...told him i wanted some propecia(finasteride) and he gave me a years supply...$52/month Canadian though...i think its worth holding on to my hair though

My doc gave me a script for proscar (it's cheaper) and didn't really mind at at all..

i'm 20 and no my insurance did not pay for it.....Ironfist are you in Canada?...how much did you pay for proscar compared to propecia?

I'm in the US and only 21yrs old...I don't think I am prone to MPB but I don't want to take the chance when I can get the finasteride so cheap...The proscar cost me about 1/3 what the propecia would have cost...I use 1/3 tabs a day just cause that is the easiest way to split it because of the way it's shaped...I think 3 moths worth cost me like $40 US...Insurance won't pay for it since it's considered a "cosmetic" drug...

thats what they told me too....i guess i'll go back to the doctor next month and ask him to switch my script to proscar....thanks for the info
