Pretty crazy shit. His father was fucking the neighbor across the street. It's not like they were the happy couple, but it is still fucked up. Dude is somewhat of a fragile soul too, even though he never lets on to it.

This kind of thing can be hard to absorb especially when the couple has been together for such a long time and has grown kids. Its kinda like once you get past a certain point or a certain number of years being married, you dont really "expect" a divorce. My best friend's parents were divorced after being married almost 30 years so i can relate.
