just downloaded matrix 2

i saw it in the movies, but it's nice to actually have the legit one downloaded... i kept on getting wrong title downloads off kazaa... great movie... anyone want it??
 
If you want the good version of Matrix reloaded, get the Centropy version, 3 disks but well worth it..

Bruce Almighty you want the VideoCD internal version.. Better quality than the others..

Also, move away from the kazaa, winmx, imesh file sharing garbage, go back to basics and use irc..

I go to www.vcdquality.com to get the details and screenshots of the releases, then I search for them on ircspy.com .. It requires you to be more computer savvy but you wont spend all your time downloading blank or wrong movies..
 
im clueless on those websites..

any help ? i'd love to get that movie downloaded..i havent seen it yet because i've been busy with school and i cant go out to the movies that often:(

Get mirc, it is an irc program that you'll use to get the file you want..
Once installed, go to vcdquality.com and browse for the movie you are looking for.. Click on it for more detailed info. You can click on the "view jpeg" link to see some screen captures of the release.. You can also click on a link at the bottom of the detail page to search irc for the movie..

To search irc, click on the link mentioned above or go to www.packetnews.com or www.ircspy.com and search for the file.

To connect to the irc channels, click on the # corresponding to the file you want. If Mirc is installed, it will bring the program up and attempt to join the channel..

Once in the channel, press control-v to paste the pack info. Then press enter and it will attempt to get the file from the bot.

You can also watch the irc chat window for other movies/files that are available.

I only see 2 files for centropy. It says of 2.
 
help? i dont feel like my computer is downloading anything while in this room..how can you tell if you are receiving the file??
 
i d/l'ed the centropy one from kazaa and its a dead file. it just plays with no sound or video. do you think im missing a codec? i doubt i am....since all my porn plays...heheheh. i have 2 different copy's of "matrix reloaded". here are my file names:

[tmd]the.matrix.reloaded.[centropy].ts.[1of2] and [2of2]

[tmd]The.matrix.reloaded.[eso].ts.[1of2] and [2of2]
 
Ahh I was gona answer ya but got tied up and forgot about it. No it's free. It's basically a more complex way of downloding ripped movies. You also have a better chance of getting what you're looking for compared to kazaa, imesh, etc. But I still can't figure out how to get it to work.
 
ok once a bot sends the file, it says to run a certain command with a huge string of numbers. What do I do from there?
 
dont run the string with a bunch of numbers or anything that starts with // .. That is an irc virus going around.. the messages saying to download matrix by typing something that has //write in it will infect your computer.. which will cause you to send those messages to other people.

Stick to messaging the bots for packs..
In some rooms, !list will give you a list of all of the packs in the channel


Pressing ctrl-v in the chatroom only copies the command you use to download the file..
You can also enter it manually: if user |XDCC-101| has bruce almighty as pack #1,
type: /msg |XDCC-101| xdcc send #1

by default, the maroon colored text is the messages to you, so look for a response from |XDCC-101| saying you that the queue is full, that you have been entered to the queue, or sending the file.
 
I dont think your virus scan would pick it up.. Im pretty sure its an irc virus, and a simple script will get rid of it, but Im not sure what it is..

If you do have the virus, you will get messages from other people telling you that you have it and to go to xxx channel (some irc channel that has people thatll help get rid of it)..
 
depending on your connection and the person who is sending it... i usually get it in about an hour or two
 
Well I downloded a crap version of the matrix reloaded. A very shitty cam in about 2-3. But that was just about 300mb for parts 1 and 2 and a lot of people had it. The much higher quality centrophy SVCD version took an entire day for me but worth it. It was about 2.4 GBs and less people had it.

That's nothing important for users. The IRC protocol specifies a simple means of testing a connection every so often...the server you're connected to will send you a message like PING [long number], and your client has to respond to the server with PONG [same long number]. As long as it does this, the server knows you're still "alive". The PING? PONG! you see is simply an indication of what's going on automatically.
 
I've been trying and just can't get IRC to work for me. At least I have usenet. That's mostly where I get my new movies from anyway. If anyone has an indepth FAQ on getting movies off IRC please share it.
