Hey guys, just curious. What were your best lifts at 17/18yrs old.
I'm 22 right now but at 17 i entered a local comp at the gym.

I weighed 189,
Deadlifted- 440
Squat -350
and benched 225( ya i know bench sucks but i'm 6'3 with long arms)

Just wondering how i stacked up at the time.

I did a 315 or so bench, 400 ish squat and didnt dead then. At 175lbs

My Partner Freak 19 his well...is 19yrs old and squats over 800 benches 500 ish and pulls 700 ish. at 242. BUt he is a freak!

Disclaimer: Please do not compare yourselves to the freak he is a pro lifter. He was also born a genetic freak and does things i do not recommend to his peers. He is a couple gene's short of a hybrid mutuant lifter! Were not even sure if he is human, we think he and Gary Frank were created in the same Lab!

Damn, i can't even think back that far and i'm only 24 now. I know it wasn't much though. You got me on everything pretty good.

At 17 I benched 255 at the astounding bodywieght of 155. Raw of course, did not know what a bench shirt was at the time. I remember box squatting around 405, but it was probably a very high box. I did not know what a deadlift looked like at the time, and I still try and avoid then like a case of herpes.

You are doing well, especially considering age, height and weight.

And don't get discouraged by the Freak. There are probably not more than a dozen or two guys his weight walking the planet who out total him. And he is 19!!!! For those older (20's, 30's and beyond) lifters on the board, think about how much stronger and bigger you are now than at 19 years of age. Now tremble at the thought of Freak30 or Freak35.

wow! impressive, all of you.

Freak 19 wholey shit those lifts are sick!

I wish i could train with you guys for 6 months, nobody seems to care about powerlifting where im from.

When I graduated highschool I was 6'2" @ 185 lbs. Skinny and weak. I had decent strength in my legs because I was a sprinter but my upper body was pitiful. I squatted and deadlifted right at 400 lbs. but I could barely bench my bodyweight (185 lbs.) for one rep. Your lifts look good at 17. Good luck!

im 16 . i bench 300. dead lift 440. and squat 475. im always a halfback. but those are my lifts. freak your fuckin huge. someday ill hit those marks.

Big J XXL,
When I was 17 I squatted 507raw, benchd 365 in a single ply blast shirt it sucked sooooooo bad, and deadlifted 523raw at a bodyweight of 189lbs

And when I was 18 i squatted 700, benched 430, and pulled 600 at 217lbs

(those numbers are all from the last meet i did at those ages 17/18)

Now at 19 years old im not sure what im capable of doing I hit a 765squat in a suit and benched 455raw and i think im capable of pulling 665-675raw these are gym numbers, im getting ready for a meet june 1st so ill let you and everybody else know how i did.

Deciever,
sometimes ill sit and think about the weight i do the records i hold and i scare myself. i still have, i think 4 more years till i get to the mens open. yeah it might sound stupid that i scare myself but when you never would of thought that you could do what you did its like amazing to me. all i got to say to you is to train smart and keep your goals realistic, and you will acheive them, and i will be here to back you up!

thanks freak.. maybe one day i'll catch up to you.... as long as i keep having fun, and hopefully setting records every now and then i'll be fine. Also, once i get my 200 lb bench i'll be happy as hell and content for a few minutes. I just hate to see naturally strong people pass me up w/ a few weeks of training while i've been training for a year. The good thing about you is that your actually sticking with it and not quitting... good job. Also, when is your meet... you think you'll be come "elite"?

also, by the time you enter the mens opens, you could have one of the highest totals in the world... i wouldnt be surprised to see you breaking 2500 before i reach 1500.

Well i can assure you as absurd as his lifts are those are his number. Freak and I got each others back week in and week out, and he is freaky! And i wont answer for Freak...but personally i dont openly discuss Juice. Wether your clean or not it works against you. One if your clean and lift a ton then every clean freak says prove it. If your not clean then they say its juice that helps ya so much. You cant win. PM him and ask him that question, even though you may get no answer, a public forum isnt the place.

17 years old at 165 lbs. I squatted 405, benched 255 and deadlifted 385. Then I took the next 19 years off.

At 16:
Bench Press: towel bench with heavy spot 95lbs
Squat: missed the smith machine bar
Deadlift: didn't know what they were
