awesome man...i actually drew up designs just like that i was gonna make...never got around to it though

however i forsee a problem in your future

i would make the end things longer...the weights will be hitting into your body especially when you use 45s

this is what it should look like

you can fix that really easy though

cut like 5 inches off of both ends...thread them

the put a 1.5 inch to 1.5 inch connector on the ends...then screw in about 8 more inches of 1.5 inch pipe

i did a quick cut a paste job to show you what i mean

the 1.5 to 1.5 converters would stop the weight...then you can pick up some multi use clamps and use them as collars

this thing isn't drawn to scale obviously and i just assumed that you are using 1.5 inch pipe...looks like it

i was thinking of using them for the medely for now and then go from there all ideas are welcome. i also made extensions like the piture, i thought about that at teh store and that is why i posted i thought the length was questionable. thanks for all the help and replys.

Just wanted to say that I was proud of you for being so innovative... All in a week you have got a set of farmers and a hook up for tires.
