jump rope as cardio...

Just bear in mind that jump rope burns more calories than running, is a high intensity form of cardio and can be bad for your joints if done for too long.
 
I take Boxing and we do 8 minutes of jumprope before every class to get warmed up. It's a great exercise, and I'm always amazed at how many people can't jump rope.

I was the clumsiest retard when I started with it, but love it now. Kicks my ass.
