right guys this is a q i get asked a lot i need some input. say a guy who was a good bodybuilder had 6mths layoff what would u do in order to get the size back on ie would u train naturaly for a period of time r jst jump on and work away, i had one guy tday ask this hes been out of training for 7mths and hes wanting to make a comeback he thinks he should train 2 weeks clean to get his joints and conective tisue ready then start a cycle.what do u guys think

yes he was he was very good but had a lay of due to the old marrage break up now he wants to go back and is egar to use gear. i think 2weeks natural then getting on a solid cycle will help get him back up there thanks bro

If he's done nothing at all for awhile, I'd get back to where I can work a full routine again, which takes months for me (without being sore like hell that is).

I made the mistake(maybe, maybe not) of jumping right back on a cycle after having a 7 month layoff due to a shoulder dislocation in my right shoulder. I started so weak that I couldn't handle it. Now 3 mos later I am as good as before, but have subsequently hurt my other shoulder joint due to the rapid strength increase. I think a month or 2 of clean workouts would have been a good idea. I now am in a virtual standstill as far as my pressing movemonts go, just because I was too anxious. It's a tough call to make.

personaly i had a year layoff and i came back and trained for 3 weeks but the temptation beat me and i hit some heavy gear within 6 weeks i was nearly back to the size i was before i took a break, also i noticed how some pros look nothing once they have abreak then all of a sudden there up there at the top makes u think
