I was raised in Southwest Louisiana...then moved to Arkansas when I went to college...still living in Arkansas.

So where'd you go to school, Fayetteville? Conway? Jonesboro? Russellville?

I alternated between Fayetteville and UALR myself. Mostly Fayetteville, but finally got the piece of paper from LR.

I definitely took a pay cut when I graduated college.

Gotta say I'd never even heard of UA Monticello OR the Boll Weevils before, and I've lived in this state for 48 of my 49 years. Had to do a google search. Where is Monticello, anyway?

Honestly, I'm not much of an Arkansan myself...

When I transferred schools on the scholarship offer...I honestly thought I was going to Fyatteville.

In Louisiana we do not have the one university system.

We have La. Tech, McNeese State, Gramblin, Southern, LSU, Louisiana College, USL...

So when the offer came from the University of Arkansas...I assumed it was from the main university....

I was young and dumb and probably drunk...

But I made the most out of it.

I feel like a colossal douche bag, I lived 23 seconds from there and ate their twice in about 5 years. Everytime I ate there I thought to myself that I should eat their more often. I can still taste their burgers, they were awesome. I'm pre-contest now, which means no burgers for me :worried:
 
If you are ever in Monticello...you need to stop at Ray's and get a Double Bacon Cheeseburger, an order of cheese fries, and a large choc. shake. They dont make large shakes but if you flirt with the fat girl behind the counter...she'll do it.

The hospital is close...so if you feel any ventricles slamming shut...you can get ther in a hurry.

Hell, if you are even within an hour of Monticello its worth the drive.

I am literally 90 minutes from anything...head any direction...its 90 minutes before you find a restaurant, mall, anything of that resembles civilization.

We have a few restaurants in this town. However, at one time or another they have all posioned me.

Needless to say, my wife and I travel just about every weekend.
