Juice and Joints.....

what do u guys think? how does the juice affect your joints? i know sometimes when on certain compounds u hold water adn joints feel great, but how bout long term? does it destroy them? and whats worse test or designer ph's????

Steroids do not destroy joints or connective tissue... period.

Many of the drugs we use are proven to improve collagen synthesis, increase bone density and strengthen connective tissue..

As for squatting 500 pounds fairly often? I can't really say.. But I know I'd much rather be on steroids doing it for added protection than not..

Some research apparently has shown that testosterone improves collagen synth at very low doses (I think up to 200mg/wk), but does the opposite at higher doses. Deca, primo and anavar are said to help joints, but other than deca I haven't seen any independent studies to prove it. And even with deca it seems to be mostly "bro knowledge," but across the board just about everyone agrees that it helps. HGH is supposed to be the most effective at regenerating connective tissue though.

No offense.. but how exactly do steroids make joints stronger at lower doses and weaker at higher dosages?

You'd think it'd be a dose respondent curve; like muscle growth from them. :coffee:

No offense taken. And I can't tell you exactly how, because it's secondhand information, though it is information that I've heard at more than a couple sites.

At any rate, something as complex as the HPTS system is probably not as simple as a linear progression. Your reasoning is not adding anything further to the debate, unfortunately.

The blood supply to tendons and ligaments is a fraction of that to the muscles. That being said the biggest risk is muscles getting stronger much faster than your tendons/ligaments and causing damage to them by heavy repetative stress before they have fully grown/strengthened to handle the loads the muscles can.

Depends on what you are taking as well. Obviously Winny is the worst.
