Jose Canseco's tell all book

Hey, did any of you guys see the clip of the fly ball bouncing off Canseco's head and going over the fence for a home run?

Based off that clip alone, the man should be totally discredited. It's about as pathetic as Buckner.

Back when the were both in Oakland, I agree bro. Canseco's "day" was very short lived. Mac (who may or may not have been on gear, and I don't give a fuck either way) was a superior hitter in his "day" than canseco as an A. Mac will walk right into the hall. Canseco will probably never see it, and if he does, it will be after he's been passed up for at least a decade.

First member of the 40/40 club isn't a bad distinction, but I hate to see him doing this shit. It's gross.

Bonds is another player altogether.

One thing that makes me disappointed with both the careers of Mark McGwire and Jose Canseco is that they both could have made serious runs at the all-time homer record but both fell short due to injuries, trouble, etc. Both men missed several seasons or parts of seasons due to injuries but still managed to both hit 400+ homers. Mac may or may not be a first-ballot HOFer. His 'unmatchable' record has already been broken and at one point, he was a .200 hitter. Still, the media was with him and the homer race between Sosa/McGwire helped save baseball, so maybe he will be one. As for Canseco, the book will definitely not help his chances at getting to the hall. He has as many notable achievments as Mac (40/40, R.o.Y., MVP awards, etc.) and similar type states as McGwire as well (low BA, lots of HRs and RBIs). I dont see him being first ballot but probably has an alright chance if he doesnt release the book. Hopefully someone around him will realize this and stop him from making the book.

Another thing, I'm kind of curious why the White Sox (my team!!!) wouldnt keep Canseco after the type of year he had last year playing for them...

I noticed that facial tick he has too..Whats with that?He never had it when he was younger. He also did it a lot when he was up at bat later in his career.Does he have terets?(sp):mix:

hey bb4life,,,,,,

thats all we need ,,,do you honestly feel sory for bonds for being a prick,,or dont hold it against him? and pressure, man what the fuck are you talking about pressure,,,this guys makes more in one fucking year than a school teacher or cop will make their whole lives,,,,fuck him and his damn pressure ,,what a crock of shit!!!! I am a sports fanatic,,,95% of my television/newspapaer/ time is all about sports but these guys are for the most part extremely over paid whining bitches,,,,,and as far as him rating out other players,,,what does this say about this prick,,,if he was so good why could he not play with anybody more than 2 seasons,,,canseco had talent but he is basically proving about himself what i thought all along!

ya i know, Sorry bros. that was my bad. I just found out yesterday that they weren't. but i always thought that they were. apparently NHL and MLB are the only pro sports that dont test for them. but with all this fuss going on, im sure they will start soon.

well im not saying that teachers and cops should get paid more . they are obviously underpaid. but what i waws trying to say is that unfortunately a lot more rides on wiether or not the yanks or giants or whoever makes it to the playoffs than little johnny gettin straight "a",s. and as for pressure i was saying that you try playing a 162 game season with maybe 2 weeks off through that whole time. they dont just play a 3 hour game and thats it. they get up early go workout , go do some interviews , sign autographs , go visit sick kids in hopitals , . . all BEFORE that game that evening. then they get to the ballpark needing to get ready for the game that you as a fan want to see them do so well at, and having to deal with people bitchin that they didnt sign my sons baseball. well after signing 500 of them a day it can become very frustrating. oh and then after that , after the game which may end at 11 or so they get on a plane and fly across country for a double header the next day. it is very demanding. yes they get paid very good money but its worth it. my dad and i had this dicussion once,he couldnt understand why they get paid so much. he said that they make as much or more that CEO of companies. yes they do. but how many ballplayers are there . about 900 or so. how many CEO are there . a lot more than that. the thing is with ball players they all happen to be in the same field. so let me ask you "lookingforanswers", look for this answer. if you were good enough to play pro ball and was offered 5 million a year to do something that you truly love to do. would you turn it down, . . . i doubt it!!!!!!!!

Just more bad press for us juicers, we don't need the government jumping on this bandwagon. Now that Caminiti has opened his big mouth, it could be bad for everybody. People have been ??? why so many home runs, DUH! These motherfuckers are huge nowadays. Ever see McGwire's arms? Jesus! Not cut, but BIG. Maybe this shit will blow over.
