Jose Canseco's tell all book

I think that juice is banned, but not tested for. I don't know what sense that makes. It's like when the NBA didn't test for weed (don't know if they do now) but it was banned.

I saw the Rome interview last night. I will definitely be reading. Naming others isn't cool. If you want to use disclose what you did personally or describe what others have done without naming them, that is OK in my opinion.

He is a big mofo, especially for a baseball player. He was 250 shredded at one point. I will definitely buy the book. sounds like a good tale.

Favorite part of the Rome Interview:

They show a clip of Canseco in the late 80's saying he could run 4.2 sec 40. Then a clip from an early 90's interview where Rome says he's full of shit about that time, and Canseco says his fastest was a 4.38 forty and claims that he "never" said he ran a 4.2 at any point in his carear. The next clip shows him talking about a 4.5.

Clearly the man is full of shit. It's really just a case of envy from a guy whose carear never lived up to the standard of the guys he came into the league with (bonds, mac).

Since he's probably never going to make the hall, fucker is now just trying to slander baseball and make a quick buck.

Did anybody else who watched the interview notice that he has some kind of facial twitch? Maybe he's got a brain tumor or some shit and he's trying to pull an Alzado.

Also, I remember reading somewhere that the reason that MLB doesn't test is because there is no form of revenue sharing in baseball. Teams would essentially be forced to pay for tests themselves. If your the Yankee's, that's pocket change, but if your the Royals, that's one less lefty reliever.

Agree in part. Yeah eh coucld have been a great player but he was rather a great wife beater if I'm correct. Bonds was far superior to him, but sorry Canseco was still better in his day than Big "Andro" Mac.....

lol

I like how when barry bonds broke the record nobody said anything about juice. LOL But he went from a playing weight of 205 to 240-245 of pretty lean muscle almost over night due to "proper training"!

Maybe if mark didn't have that bloated look it wouldn't be so obvious.

Next thing you know he will be endorsing the supplement that made is gains possible.

Everybody using can point to supplements as a reason for their gains. Due to all the false advertising allowed, most the general public believes the supplements give the results they claim(making you look like the roided out spokesman!) It reflects in the millions of dollars in sales and the booming supplement market.

Remember, nobody juices until the test comes back positive, even then they don't juice, they blame it on andro or something. They might not even admit it on the deathbed, why taint a legacy?

If they are smart, nobody really knows they juice, why tell somebody so they can have something on you.

I'm wiilling to bet there are alot of pro athletes lurking(more so than posting) around here soaking up information.

Back when the were both in Oakland, I agree bro. Canseco's "day" was very short lived. Mac (who may or may not have been on gear, and I don't give a fuck either way) was a superior hitter in his "day" than canseco as an A. Mac will walk right into the hall. Canseco will probably never see it, and if he does, it will be after he's been passed up for at least a decade.

First member of the 40/40 club isn't a bad distinction, but I hate to see him doing this shit. It's gross.

Bonds is another player altogether.

Well ill start this off by saying that almost every professional sport there is some kind of juicing going on. i have played with and hopefully again play with pro baseball players. im not saying that everybody does but there are a lot doing it. that is no new news. Barry Bonds is my favorite ball player. he is by far the most complete baseball player. So what if he has a little attitude at times. Until you experiance the day in and day out life of a ball player youcant even imagine what kind of pressure they , hopefully we are under. This is there job and livelihood. unfortunalty a lot of it is about money. the more homeruns, the more stolen bases the more rbi's you produce the more money your gonna make. Anabolic steriods does not however make a ball player. they have the skills already, it just helps. but like we all know here that you cant just pop pills, inject or rub on dedication, hard work and sacrifice to make it big. as for big mac, we all know you dont get that big on andro. as for bonds he has personal trainers , massage therypist and dietitions that go everywhere to keep him focused. if i had the money so would i. the pitchers are getting faster and more dominate, so the hittings have to do something at times. as i was saying all sports there is AS use. MLB does not test , the NBA,NFL test but 9 times out of 10 they know when they are going to be tested. its a game really. but lets all just enjoy the entertainment that it is, that is all
