jose canseco claims

Okie, you are coming off as a little naive.
It is VERY safe to say that 75-85% of competitive athletes are presently taking or have taken performance enhancing compunds in some form or another.
This covers ALL sports, golf included. I know to "Joe Public" this sounds rediculous, but the money involved has made this FACT not speculation.
The media and the naive public had better brace themselves because the truth will only become more apparent as time goes on.

I don't know what golf you have been watching but most of those guys are either fat or weigh about 125lbs. I seriously doubt Phil Mickelson or Sergio Garcia shoot up between rounds. I suppose you have some sort of proof to back up your statements. You're probably right, the media and the public don't have a clue what is going on, but some guy named PerfectRep on an Internet chat board has the inside scoop. If it were so apparent to everyone, I think more would have been said about it. If it is so evident, then why would a jack-ass like Canseco go out of his way to make specific comments about it. I'm sure a lot of athletes use gear, but it seems to me that every time someone can't do or perform as well as another, it must be steroids. Instead of hard work, dieting, or dedication, let's blame steroids. Why did McGwire hit 70...steroids, why did bonds break that feat...must have doubled the dose, how come Tiger is breaking all of Jack's records...steroids. The fact is that we have been steadily getting bigger, stronger, and faster for a long time. Even the average height for people has increased steadily over the last 200 years. Of course there are many who use gear, but let's not blame drugs for every amazing thing that happens in sports.

0k, Cn1. Maybe someone like pudge is gearing up, but do you really think guys like David Wells are. If that guy's taking juice it aint for stamina, or speed.

Anyway, my point is if Conseco can devise a story, that there's collusion amongst the owners to rid baseball of Jose Conseco, than how can we trust anything that comes out of his mouth.

And if the owners did conspire, well that's the first smart thing they've done since Jackie Robinson.

I have a friend in baseball its funny because a day or two before this canseco report came out we were talking about the use in major league baseball. According to him its prob. higher than 85% that use, they are not tested, there trainers give them the injections, he was even joking around about the line of deca bottles lined up like beer cans in the locker room. These guys are not using test and bulkers but deca at lower doses for there joints, eq, winny, things like this. that is why a lot of them stay thin. remember also they dont eat a lot of calories like bb's do.

What a huge surprise, next thing we are going to hear is that the guys in Muscle and Fitness take steroids, what a surprise that would be.

i have to chime in and say that most baseball players do probably juice in some way or another and that deca use for joint pains and winny and primo for endurance is probably two of the most common.

Ya, i give part of Tiger Woods amazing ablity to anavar and winny. did u know that he can bench 300lbs. that is a lot for a golfer, and if u look at his arms, he is very vascular to.

canseco is not a hall of famer. there is a list a mile long of guys that SHOULD be in the hall of fame and arent...he's at the bottom of that list.....just consider that when the voting begins....he will be in the same "class" as mcgwire, ripken and gwynn.....now you tell me when canseco's name is going to come up on ANY ballot and people will say. ok i'll vote for him. has nothing to do with blackballing. he sucks. bottom line. and for anyone who thinks he's a "good guy"...tell that to the mexican he punched out in newark when he was playing for the bears. the guy has always been, and will always be a scumbag.

.. its about bat speed..

He quit juicing when he quit football.. and he became a better baseball player.. less injuries and a better all around player..

Bat speed is created by the power that muscles provide. Sure a greater range of motion (flexibility) will create higher bat speed, but so will added muscle to move that bat thru the range of motion (within reason-not talking 300lbs freaks here). Look at olympic sprinters, they are not skinny. Sure lots of flexibility....but also a lot of muscle.

Chances are anyone who quites playing one of two pro sports will get better at the remaining sport because they would have more time to devote to that sport. And anyone who elliminates pro football from day to day life will sustain less injuries, regardless of gear.
