Saw him live this weekend.. The show was great. His music is so "chill," a lot live Dave Matthews... And damn, his show attracts some HOOOOOOOT lookin ladies.....

I'm just picked up his "Room for Squares" and am listening to it now for the first time and am loving it! I've got tickets to Dave Matthews on Dec. 10th. He's my absolute favorite artist. Hubby's in NH tonight...saw Rush...I got to listen in for about half of the show on his cell phone...we saw them here in Tampa a few weeks ago...their best tour ever! Good music is one of my favorite addictions.

Death Metal now..
I worked my way there from Nu Metal, Heavy metal, Punk, Alternative.. before that was Classic rock... I still listen to it all, just mainly DM now.

You would probobly like it.. their other stuff you might not stomach (pretty heavy), but this is a softy but goodie

I went to a show in February 2001 in Manhattan to see Glen Phillips, the lead singer of Toad The Wet Sprocket( the band recently reunited) on his solo tour. John Mayer was opening for him alone with only his guitar. At that show I picked up a copy of his acoustic Ep. By February of this year Glen could've opened for him.

not trying to start with anyone who does like the guy but i think hes friggin terrible personally...when he sings he sounds like he has something wrong with him like he stumbles over his words, and hes way too mellow for me...guy must have no test in his body
The ladies love his music and I like a few of his songs.
He is talented and I respect that.
I have noticed that people like music that is written and sung from the heart...and John Mayer seems to be doing that.
It is light-years ahead of manufactured garbage like Linkin Park.

I am a musicial myself (drums for 10 years) and very into music.. I do consider myself somewhat knowledgable in this area, and I can honestly say with all my being that this is one talented motherfucker.. Hell if I were a chick, I'd get down with him. HAHAHAHAHAH.... Ok off to watch some straight porn!
